This three hours working city tour will give the chance to explore the old stone town with its history, monuments, museums and culture. It start at the public market where our professional tour guides will explain every information about the market which was build in 1904, spices market, fish market as well as fruits and vegetables are sold in there.
After the public market you will be guided to the former slave market in which now is the Anglican Cathedral which was constructed after the abolition of the slave market in 1873 by Dr. David Livingstone, in the area there will some monuments of slaves, slave chambers and some other slavery related remaining of the East African slave trade.
Then will be the time to look around stone town Arab and Indian architecture and curved wooden doors as you walk into the narrow streets of stone town where you can take several pictures of the streets and buildings as well as exploring the daily life of Zanzibar people in the residence areas.
